FIRE / EMS PARTICIPANTS

Calling all Firefighters
and EMS personnel!!!

This is YOUR day....come out and
participate in the only festival in Central

Virginia that pays tribute to what you do!

Here's how..............

1.  Drive a firetruck/ambulance in the parade
Here's the chance to show off the pride of your jurisdiction as you drive along the historic streets of downtown Richmond.  So polish up those old firetrucks and those state of the art ambulances and bring them out for the fun!
Awards for Best in Show, Oldest Unit, Furthest Distance and Most Unique.

2.  Demonstrations
Does your team have a special skill? 
Put your crew together and flaunt that training for the crowd. Demonstrations include activities such as High Angle Rescue, Repelling, Hoseline drills, Bunker Gear Drills and Vehicle Extrication 

3.  Compete in the Olympics
Does your team have what it takes go head to head in Fire/EMS related competition with other jurisdictions from around the state? If so, bring your team out for some "friendly" compitition and a chance to "bring home the GOLD" in events such as
Firefighter Tug-of-War, Hot Shot Hose Line competitions, gurney races and hose roll bowling to name a few.

4.  Firefighter Auction
It's all for fun and charity.   Ladies and Gentlemen can sign up to strutt their stuff for the crowd and watch the bids go higher and higher.  Date/entertainment packages awarded with each participant.
